Remember that really attractive dude I was talking about? Well, this is him and he went on tour with us this summer. He is responsible for all of the pictures of Nick wearing a speedo. Follow his website (click the picture, ya doofus) as he posts about how tour went from the perspective of someone who spends more time in the hospital than loading in.
That’s how many miles we put on our van over the past 36 days. We visited 35 cities in 23 states and 2 countries. When we set out on this journey, it was hard to wrap our heads around the idea that we wouldn’t be seeing our home, friends, or family for the next five weeks.
It may not seem like the longest tour. Heck, bands are constantly going out for longer than 36 days. But this was our longest tour. This was our challenge and it would be a disservice to anyone and everyone who helped us out with a show, came out to a show, shared the microphone, got sweaty with us, and/or put us up for a night to say we didn’t conquer that challenge.
It doesn’t sound like that long now that we’re home. It feels nice to say that we’re home. Home. Being students, we’re often moving around, finding a new place to live every year; and because of that, the idea of home quickly becomes an abstract concept. But we’ve been fortunate enough to call Orlando home for the last three years. We’re home.
We love it here. We love it in Florida. We have the greatest friends and the best families anyone could ask for. We could never begin to thank the people that make this hobby of ours possible. But we can sure as hell try: Thank you. Sincerely.
With that said, we’ll see you Tuesday Orlando.

Also, there will be a slew of pictures finding their way to the internet in the next couple of weeks courtesy of Evan McGrew Photography. Give him a few follows so he doesn’t have to buy them anymore.
Just got back from our little Florida: The Tour last night and god damn did we have a blast. We want to first congratulate Twinkle Mama on winning the free shirt. Thanks to everyone who reblogged and all that nonsense. The internet is a crazy place. WARNING: Only click Read More if you’re really in the mood to read more.
First off: HOLY SHIT. Friday was unbelievable. We should have paid everyone there $5, not charged them, for the amount of fun you all brought. Seriously though, thank you so fucking much. Sorry about cursing, mom. But I really mean it. Sometimes you just have to use a curse word. Like in a song that’s really true and emotional.
This post is mostly a reminder that we’re playing shows all around Florida this week. Come hang out with us. We’re playing American Airlines Arena in Miami, Germain Arena in Estero, the 1-800 ASK GARY Amphitheater in Tampa and rounding it all off at Tinker Field in Orlando.
Just kidding. But we really are playing shows around Florida. That part isn’t a joke.
But that little flyer I whipped up has some information on the upcoming shows. As always, you can find information on our Facebook or our little make-pretend website. Yeah, we have a dot-com. Cool.
Also! Our wonderful friend Nicole came and hung out with us last night. She is great. She also was kind enough to take pictures of the entire show. Except for Teen Agers set. But who cares about them, amiright? I’m not. Here!
But being completely real, we are so absolutely grateful for all the sweat, love and rock n’ roll that was experienced last night. Oh, and all the beers you guys bought us. THANKS DAD!
OH AND WE WILL PICK A WINNER FOR THE FREE SHIRT TOMORROW PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE

Get a loud of these! If you didn’t know, we kept a pretty killer and super detailed diary of our adventures. I mean, the details get pretty gothic. Want to know what we ate? Got it. What we spent money on? GOT IT! WHAT WE DID!? TONS OF IT! OH MAN ARE YOU EXCITED!? It’s late. Goodnight.
Kevin Duguette just texted me. Crud.
